If you elect our Self-Pay option, you will receive a receipt immediately upon purchase, and you will be billed on the payment schedule reflected on this receipt.
If your insurance plan is covered and you elect to pay for services in conjunction with your insurance provider:
- You will receive a receipt for Non-Covered Services immediately upon purchase, and you will be billed on the payment schedule reflected on this receipt. Please note that if choose to pay for Non-Covered Services on a monthly payment plan, you will be billed for these services on a monthly timeline that may not align with your treatment schedule. In the case of a three-month payment plan, you'll be billed monthly, even if you have not scheduled your Medical Consult.
- For Covered Services, most patients typically pay an office copay for each of their appointments with our clinicians, or towards the deductible remaining on their plan. Innerwell will automatically file your claim with your insurance provider once you complete your appointment. This process may take up to 30 days. You will be automatically billed after the appointment has been completed, and this may occur after the appointment and/or after your claim has been processed. You will be sent a receipt from Innerwell to confirm your payment. To learn more about Covered and Non-Covered Services, see here.
- Note: You may receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurance carrier once your claim has been processed. Please wait for your billing statement from Innerwell before reaching out to us with any questions you may have on your EOB.
