We don't believe in one-size-fits-all approaches to mental health. Each patient works with their Psychiatric Clinician to create a personalized care program, including dose and frequency. Additionally, you have the flexibility to pause treatment, such as during travel/vacations, and resume when ready.
While most Innerwell patients are taking their medicine weekly, this can vary considerably depending on individual conditions and goals, ranging from twice weekly to once monthly. Conditions like severe depression or treatment-resistant depression may necessitate more frequent sessions, such as twice weekly. For those without chronic conditions, once-weekly treatments might be suitable. If the focus is on introspective work and not significant depression or anxiety, reduced frequency may be appropriate.
The first two ketamine treatments are considered a 'dose-finding' exercise, and it’s generally okay if there is a brief gap in time (e.g., up to 14 days) between the first two treatments and starting the next series of six treatments.
