After completion of a ketamine care program, many patients feel much better. For others, they may be starting to feel better but continued improvement and sustained remission of their condition may take longer. If you continue to need additional treatment, we’re here to support you.
All of our ketamine care programs end with a Capstone appointment with your Psychiatric Clinician. In your Capstone appointment, your clinician will review the progress that you’ve made through your program, and they'll make a recommendation regarding continued care.
If your clinician recommends that you continue care, they will work with you to create a continued care or maintenance program that’s tailored to your needs. The benefits of ketamine can be long-lasting, and ongoing treatment can help to maintain them.
Our continued care programs are designed as two-month programs. Depending on the treatment frequency you and your Psychiatric Clinician agree upon, you may elect to continue with one of the following programs:
- Weekly program (8 doses) - $800
- Bi-weekly program (4 doses) - $600
- Monthly program (2 doses) - $400
*Please note that you can generally take a break from treatment for up to 30 days (from your last appointment) without interruption. If you purchase a continued care plan more than 30 days after your last appointment, you will need to purchase an additional Medical Check-in appointment with your Psychiatric Clinician to determine ongoing clinical suitability for treatment. Self-pay patients will notice that an additional $200 charge for your Medical Check-in appointment will be added to the cost of your continued care plan. Patients paying with insurance may be responsible for a copay or coinsurance, consistent with the terms of your insurance plan.
As you might expect, continued care varies greatly patient to patient.
- Some patients achieve the breakthrough they are looking for and are able to discontinue treatment, which is a result we love.
- Some patients start off with our 8-dose Foundation Program and transition to our 24-dose Extended Program upon nearing the end of their original care program.
- Some patients transition to one of our Continued Care Programs, which are two-month weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly programs that can be used as maintenance treatment, or for going deeper if you are still on the path to improvement.
- Some patients elect to only continue with their Innerwell Therapist. If this option works best for you, you can - at any point in your treatment program - schedule standalone psychotherapy sessions.
Irrespective of whether you continue treatment at Innerwell, you will continue to have access to the Innerwell Portal and its support tools (daily mood tracking, guided meditations, and curated playlists) following the completion of your care program.
